Helicopter called after car crashes into tree in Cincinnatus

CINCINNATUS, N.Y. – Emergency crews are at the scene of a serious accident on Route 26 in Cincinnatus.

Shortly after 5 p.m., Cincinnatus Fire and Ambulance was called to 2602 Route 26 for a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a tree.

Two people were trapped inside the vehicle at the time crews arrived on scene, according to emergency radio reports.  A helicopter was then called to the area.

The Willet Fire Department and Marathon Fire Department also responded to the scene to provide assistance.
