Butch Trucks, one of the founding members of the Allman Brothers Band, is slated to perform with his band at the Center for the Arts of Homer on Thursday.

Not long after the concert is over, Trucks tells Syracuse.com, he and his wife plan to leave the country, saying the couple can't live in America while Donald Trump is president.

"She said she would miss lots of things in the U.S., but we can't live there if Trump's president," Trucks told the news site.

The musician reportedly has a home in southern France and plans to sell his property in Jacksonville, Florida.

Butch Trucks and the Freight Train Band will perform Thurs., Nov. 17, at 8 p.m. at the Center for the Arts of Homer.

He'll be joined on stage by keyboardist Bruce Katz, who has appeared on over 72 albums, as well as Garrett Dawson of the Dickey Betts Band. Digger Jones will open the evening of music at 7 p.m.
