Former Cortland goalie Scott Tota chosen by Rochester in Major League Lacrosse Draft

Former SUNY Cortland men's lacrosse goalie Scott Tota '15 (Webster/Webster Schroeder) has been selected by the Rochester Rattlers in the 2017 Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Supplemental Draft.

Tota was chosen in the 10th round as the 85th overall pick during the draft, which was held on December 14.

Tota was an honorable mention All-American in the spring of 2015 during his senior season after posting a 16-4 record with 187 saves, a .537 save percentage and a 8.80 goals-against average in 20 starts. He earned All-SUNYAC honors as both a junior and senior, and was the SUNYAC Tournament MVP during his junior season.

For his collegiate career, Tota registered a combined record of 44-9. He ranks fifth in program history with 471 saves and a 7.17 GAA.
