Authorities seek suspect who allegedly burglarized Cortland adult store

CORTLAND, N.Y. — The Cortland County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a person who broke into an adult store in Cortlandville.

The burglary at Tikki's Adult Boutique, located in the Groton Avenue Shopping Plaza on Route 222, occurred between the hours of 12 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, according to Lt. Todd Caufield with the sheriff's office.

The suspect entered the store by breaking the front window glass with an object. Once inside, the suspect stole several adult items from the boutique, along with an undisclosed amount of cash, the sheriff's office said.

Authorities describe the suspect as caucasian with a slender build with glasses, wearing a knit style hat and carrying a backpack.
