CORTLAND, N.Y. — The Cortland Police Department will hold its second annual awards ceremony next week.
The gathering will take place on the third floor of city hall on Thurs., Jan. 26, at 5 p.m.
The department will recognize police officers who performed "extraordinary" duties in 2016.
Award categories at last year's ceremony included individual commendations, certificates for accomplishments, lifesaving awards and department commendation awards.
