Two Cortland residents arrested on meth manufacturing charges

CORTLAND, N.Y. — Two people were arrested Friday after police seized materials used to make methamphetamine at the suspects' home in Cortlandville.

On Friday, Feb. 17, police executed a search warrant at Lot 14, 15 Kingsley Avenue, Cortlandville, following an investigation into meth manufacturing.

Police found eight one pot meth labs, filters, funnels, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, a coffee grinder with ephedrine residue, lithium strips and lab equipment, state police said in a news release.

Glen L. Brenchley III, 43, and Alyce M. Sivers, 30, were charged with one felony count of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and a separate felony charge of unlawful disposal of methamphetamine lab materials.

They were arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court and taken to Cortland County Jail.

The Cortland County Drug Task Force assisted state police in their investigation.
