Cortlandville firefighters douse early morning blaze at Pall Trinity Corporation

CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. - Multiple fire departments responded to Pall Trinity Corporation early Tuesday morning to extinguish a fire that spread to the roof of the building.

The Cortlandville Fire Department was dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at Pall Trinity, 3643 Route 281 in Cortlandville, early Tuesday morning. Responding firefighters were told that a fire had spread to the roof structure of the building.

A second alarm was transmitted, drawing fire departments from Homer, Cortland, Marathon, Dryden, McLean and Groton.

The fire was quickly brought under control and damage was contained to the immediate area of the initial source of the fire, the Cortlandville Fire Department said in a news release.

Crews from McGraw, Virgil, and Killawog provided mutual aid at Cortlandville's fire stations during the incident.
