The Homer Farmers' Market kicked off its summer season Saturday on Main Street.
The market is organized to encourage local production and to offer a venue where local farmers, food producers, and craftspeople can sell their goods to local residents in a community setting.
The market will be open Saturdays from 9-1 and Wednesdays from 4:30-7 until October.
