Homer man charged with felony DWI

Narrative: On Sat., Aug. 12, at approximately 1:55 a.m., officers from the Cortland County Sheriff's Office came upon a vehicle parked in the roadway on Route 13 in the town of Homer. The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Nathan Mathews, was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with felony driving while intoxicated because of a previous DWI conviction. He was processed and later arraigned in Homer Town Court and remanded to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.

Locke man accused of driving while intoxicated

Narrative: On August 9, at 9:16 PM, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 1138 Route 13 in the Town of Cortlandville for a traffic problem. The sheriff’s office received reports of a vehicle backing out into traffic several times, from a yard, causing a traffic hazard. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and operator at the scene. Upon further investigation Officers arrested 30-year-old Joseph Frost for Driving While Intoxicated. He was taken into custody, processed, and later arraigned in the Town of Cortlandville Court. Frost was released in court with a return court date in the Town of Cortlandville Court on Aug. 21 at 11 a.m.
