Four Syracuse residents arrested in Cortland Kmart theft

CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. – Four Syracuse residents were arrested for shoplifting at the Cortlandville Kmart store on Route 13, the Cortland County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday.

The theft occurred last Tuesday, June 23, at around 2 p.m., according to Lt. Troy Boice.

Officers located the suspects in a vehicle on Tompkins Street shortly after the theft occurred. They were found to be in possession of items that were reportedly stolen from Kmart, Boice said.

All four suspects were charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, both misdemeanors.

Those arrested:

– Lenora D. Bradley, 47
– Marlon J. Moore, 41
– Danita M. Corley, 46
– Belinda J. Williams, 42

They were arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court and taken to Cortland County Jail on $500 cash bail.
