MCLEAN, N.Y. – Crews from the state Department of Environmental Conservation and the Cortland County hazmat team were called to a rest area off of Route 13 Wednesday morning after a tractor trailer began leaking fuel from its gas tank.
At around 10 a.m. Wednesday, crews were called to the rest area near Route 13 and Old Dryden Road.
Approximately 80 to 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the truck's tank, which was somehow punctured, officials said.
