CORTLAND, NY –The residents, staff, and family members of Walden Place Senior Housing Community have developed a team known as the Walden Walkers to participate in the 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer’s put on by the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York.
As a way to raise funds for our walking team, and also awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease, Walden Place is hosting a community dinner on Tuesday, August 11 from 4 - 7 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $8 adults/$4 child which includes a full meal/drinks/dessert and outdoor games. A dunk tank will be on site and guests can take a chance at dunking our managers for a small donation.
All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY via the Walden Walkers team.
The event will take place at Walden Place at 839 Bennie Rd in Cortland.
