CINCINNATUS, N.Y. – A man was charged with a DWI after he was seen driving a go-kart on a state highway.

At around 6 p.m. Tuesday, Brian W. Fairweather, 34, was pulled over by troopers while driving an unregistered 2000 Silver Fox go-kart on Route 26 in the town of Cincinnatus.
Police say Fairweather was driving with a suspended driver's license and had an open can of beer.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated along with several traffic law violations.
Police say he had a blood alcohol content of .10 percent.
Fairweather was arraigned in Solon Town Court and taken to Cortland County Jail on $500 cash bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Cincinnatus Town Court on August 19.
