Brooklynn S. Davis, 18, of Groton, and Bryant P. Barnes, 27, of New Jersey, are charged with felony third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said they searched Davis' residence at 166 Main St. around 12:17 p.m. where they found 50 prepackaged bags of heroin, one bag of loose heroin weighing about 4 grams, and $600 dollars. The street value of the drugs found is about $2,400.

Davis and Barnes were arraigned in the Town of Groton Court.

Officials said the drug bust was the result of joint efforts by the Village of Groton Police Department, Ithaca Police Department, New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, and Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office.
