TAYLOR, N.Y. – A Cortland County man faces DWI charges following a crash that happened last week in the town of Taylor.

At around 11:50 p.m. Friday, sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Suarez Road.
Randy Diaz, 59, reportedly lost control of the vehicle, struck a ditch and the car rolled over, according to deputies.
Diaz was treated at the scene for minor injuries by Cincinnatus Ambulance personnel. The vehicle sustained heavy damage.
The man failed standardized field sobriety tests and was found to be intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of .14 percent, deputies said.
Diaz faces two DWI misdemeanor charges and a traffic violation. He is scheduled to reappear in Taylor Town Court next month.
