Thomas C. Joseph, 19, was arrested on April 12 after Cortland County sheriff's deputies found a meth lab at a mobile home on Kingsley Avenue.

Authorities also arrested Amanda Maphis in connection with that case. She was sentenced last month in Cortland County Court.

Joseph was sentenced Tuesday to six months in jail and five years of probation, though he has already served the jail time and was released following sentencing.

Judge William Ames said Joseph has a long history of poor cooperation with probation supervision and could face time in state prison if he violates the terms of his probation.
