Syracuse man found with crack cocaine in Cortland County, police say

PREBLE, N.Y. – A Syracuse man was arrested Friday after police executed a search warrant of his vehicle and found about 14 grams of crack cocaine, according to state troopers.

Members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and Troop "C" Uniform Force executed a search warrant Friday during a traffic stop on I-81 in the town of Preble.

Tramond Wallace

Tramond G. Wallace, 21, of Syracuse, was arrested and charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and second degree criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a misdemeanor.

Police seized approximately 14 grams of cocaine, a digital scale and $1,479 in cash.

Wallace was arraigned in Preble Town Court and taken to Cortland County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

The Cortland County Drug Task Force assisted with the search warrant and arrest of Wallace.
