Police: Woman shattered windows of ex-boyfriend's car in Scott

SCOTT, N.Y. – A Cortland County woman was arrested last week after police say she struck her ex-boyfriend and shattered the windows of his vehicle.

At about 11:40 a.m. Thursday, state police responded to a report of criminal mischief at a home on County Lane in the town of Scott.

Troopers determined that Alayna C. Carr, 22, had entered her ex-boyfriend's home and struck him and another person who was inside the home.

She also shattered all the windows of his 1998 Mercury Mountaineer that was parked outside, police said.

Carr was charged with third degree criminal mischief, a felony, and second degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor, along with a violation of second degree harassment.

She was released without bail and the court issued an order of protection against her.

Carr will appear in Scott Town Court on Nov. 3.
