CORTLAND, N.Y. – Staff of NBT Bank’s Cortland Main Street Office unveiled a transformed branch at a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception held Monday, November 16, at the 65 Main Street office.

The redesigned lobby features an open floor concept where customers can perform a variety of transactions using a self-service teller unit. Additionally, the traditional teller line was replaced with free-standing teller pods where customers can interact with bank staff on a more personal level. The office also features a tech bar and debit card instant issue machine.

“The interior of the branch was completely remodeled to include new technology that streamlines customer transactions and provides a modern and relaxed atmosphere that allows employees to circulate among customers to answer questions and provide assistance as needed,” said NBT Bank Retail Market Manager Jeff Armstrong. “The benefit to this change is a more efficient banking experience for customers, which allows our staff to offer additional support and assistance to customers for all their banking needs.”
