CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. – A Cortland man was arrested Saturday after crashing into a car wash center on Route 222 in Cortlandville.

On Jan. 2, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff's Department responded to the Squeaky Clean Car Wash at 1081 NYS Route 222 in the town of Cortlandville for a car accident.
The driver of the vehicle, Joshua G. Abshire, 31, of Cortland, collided into the building, according to deputies. He was transported to Cortland Regional Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Abshire was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation, and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, all misdemeanors.
He was released on appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court Jan. 25.
