CORTLAND, N.Y. — Nick Sinay, drafted in the 22nd round of the 2015 MLB draft by the Toronto Blue Jays, will be attending the Cortland Crush's Ice Crusher Event Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Cortland Ramada Inn.
Sinay played baseball for Marcellus High School in Syracuse and attended the University of Buffalo. He started as a catcher for UB, but his fast feet led to him being placed in center field. He led the team in hits (60), runs (42), total bases (69), walks (69), and on base percentage (.470). He also broke the school's single season record for stolen bases (30) and the school's career record (73).
