Billie Jo Garrow, 37, was arrested on two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony.

The charges stemmed from an investigation that was reported by a family member, who accused Garrow of stealing the debit/check card of a family member and using it over the course of several months at different locations throughout Cortland County, authorities said.

The investigation revealed that Garrow stole more than $2,700 in cash from the family member's account, the sheriff's department said.

Garrow was arraigned in Cortland City Court Wednesday and taken to Cortland County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.

She is due back in Cortland City Court Friday.
