CORTLAND, N.Y. — A Cortland man has been arrested in connection with a reported rape at a home on Lime Hollow Road, the Cortland County Sheriff's Department announced Friday.

Cyler Marquis, 20, was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree rape. a class B felony, second-degree aggravated sexual abuse, a class C felony, forcible touching and unlawful imprisonment, both misdemeanors.
On Feb. 20, Marquis sexually assaulted a female and held her against her will for a short period of time while they were at his residence, according to Lt. Todd Caufield with the sheriff's department.
With information provided by the victim, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Marquis. He was stopped on McLean Road at around 3:45 p.m. Friday and taken into custody without incident.
Marquis was arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court Friday and taken to Cortland County Jail on $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond. He is due back in court Monday.
