CORTLAND, N.Y. — A two-month investigation of reported drug activity at the Cortland Park Apartments led to the arrest of a Cortland man on Friday, the Cortland County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies executed a search warrant at an apartment at 44 Rickard Street in the early morning hours Friday. Authorities allegedly found "various grams" of marijuana that were packaged for sale, along with packaging materials and drug paraphernalia used for the sale of marijuana, according to Lt. Todd Caufield with the sheriff's office.
Geronimo Harrison, 31, of 44 Rickard Street, Cortland Park Apartments, was charged with three counts of second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class D felony.
He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Harrison was arraigned in Cortland City Court Friday and taken to Cortland County Jail on $20,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to reappear in Cortland City Court on Monday.
The City of Cortland Police Department Tactical Response Unit and New York State Police assisted the Cortland County Drug Task force in the investigation, the sheriff's office said.
