Lori Maricle, 22, of Elm Street, Cortland, was arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony, the Cortland County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

In November 2015, the sheriff's office took a report of a stolen RV camping trailer. The owner of the RV told authorities that the RV was parked on their property in the town of Freetown at the time it was stolen, the news release said.

After receiving a tip, investigators located the stolen RV in Tompkins County. The vehicle was impounded and will be returned to the property owner, an official said.

Investigators later identified Maricle as a suspect in the case. She turned herself in to authorities on Thursday, the sheriff's office said.

Maricle was arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court and released on her own recognizance to reappear in court on May 18.
