Sheriff: Homer woman threatened man with golf club

HOMER, N.Y. — A Homer woman was arrested Monday after allegedly throwing eggs at a man's car and threatening him with a golf club.

At around 5;30 p.m., sheriff's deputies responded to a complaint of a disorderly person at 6012 New York Route 281 in the town of Homer.

Officers arrived and spoke with the victim, who stated that a person threatened to assault him with a golf club. He also had eggs thrown at his vehicle, authorities said.

The suspect, 45-year-old Amy J. Delaney was found at her home nearby and taken into custody.

Delaney was charged with misdemeanors for menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment. She was released on appearance tickets.
