Ithaca Police: Stewart Avenue stabbing suspect turns himself in

ITHACA, NY - On Friday, the suspect in a stabbing that occurred on Sept. 28, 2016 on Stewart Avenue turned himself in at the Ithaca Police Department.

The suspect, Khaliq Gale, was accompanied by an attorney when he turned himself in. Gale was booked on one charge of Assault in the Second Degree, a Class D Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Gale was arraigned in Ithaca City Court in front of Judge Miller and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail of $2,000 property bond. An Order of Protection was also issued against Gale.
