ITHACA, N.Y. — A man accused of murdering a Brooklyn teen and assaulting another teen at Cornell University allegedly confessed to both crimes after being taken into custody by Ithaca police Monday.
Nagee E. Green, 23, is being charged with felony second-degree murder and second-degree assault in connection with the crimes. A grand jury voted to indict him on the murder charge Thursday afternoon. It is not known whether he will be indicted on the assault charge as of Thursday evening.

According to court documents, Green spoke to investigators for about three hours and confessed to both crimes while being video recorded.
Police say he stabbed 19-year-old Rahiem Williams "repeatedly" in the back with a large black folding knife. The injuries hospitalized Williams and caused "lasting substantial pain and suffering," the documents state. Nazaire's manner of death was homicide and the cause was blood loss due to a stab wound in his left chest, documents state.
Green remains in the Tompkins County Jail and is being held without bail.
