Homer man will serve prison time for making meth

CORTLAND, N.Y. — A village of Homer man will spend 1 and 1/2 to 3 years in prison nearly a year after he was arrested on drug-related charges in Cortland County.

Jacob Falso, 23, appeared in Cortland County Court Tuesday morning with his attorney, David Hartnett.

Falso and another man were arrested in December after Cortland County sheriff's deputies found materials used to manufacture methamphetamine in their vehicle.

Falso was sentenced to 1/2 to 3 years in prison on one count of third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a class D felony.

Judge William Ames presided over the case.
