Three arrested following Cortland drug bust on Tompkins Street

CORTLAND, N.Y. — Three people were arrested on felony drug charges Saturday after multiple law enforcement agencies executed search warrants at two different homes on Tompkins Street.

At around 1:45 p.m. Saturday, the Cortland Police Department, the Cortland County Sheriff's Department and New York State Police executed a search warrant at 82 Tompkins Street.

The Cortland Police Department used its K-9 and Tactical Response Unit to search the apartment, where police seized about two ounces of cocaine.

During the search, authorities uncovered more information about possible drug activity at 119 Tompkins Street. A search warrant there netted an additional half ounce of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

The total street value of the cocaine seized was approximately $8,000, police said.

Three people were charged following the investigation, which police said remains ongoing:
