Police looking for Whitney Point man who reportedly went missing two days ago

WHITNEY POINT, N.Y. — State police are searching for a Broome County man who was reportedly last seen two days ago.

Paul A. Schwartfigure, 46, was last seen on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at around 4 p.m. He was last seen traveling east on West Main Street in the village of Whitney Point. He also goes by the nickname "Bear."

He is described as a 5'11" male weighing about 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black Carhartt jacket, blue jeans, black boots and a winter cap.

Police say Schwartfigure is often seen riding a bicycle in or around the village. He rides a Huffy mountain bike with red coloration on the tires and hand grips.
