Cortland Police Department to hold meth awareness forum

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The dangers of meth production and ways to report it to local authorities is the topic of an upcoming forum hosted by the Cortland Police Department.

The event, sponsored by the Cortland City Police Community-Oriented Policing Program, is being called "an open forum with 2-way communication."

The Cortland Community Meth Awareness Forum will be held Tuesday, April 25, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Cortland County Office Building auditorium.

Several local law enforcement agencies will be in attendance to answer questions. Sean Kilpatrick, a senior investigator with New York State Police, is the keynote speaker for the event.

Light refreshments will be served.
