It wasn't even close.
In a poll conducted by Syracuse.com, Cortland's beloved Coffee Mania was voted as the best place to grab a cup of joe in Central New York.
The poll asked participants to pick the best coffee shop in Central New York. Eight different counties were included: Onondaga, Oswego, Cortland, Oneida, Madison, Seneca, Tompkins and Cayuga counties. No national chains were included.
Voting concluded on Sunday, and Coffee Mania won handily, with more than 31 percent of participants choosing Coffee Mania as the region's best coffee brewer.
In second place came Utica Coffee Roasting Company with 13 percent of the vote. Syracuse-based Recess Coffee took third place.
Michelle Brooks, who shares ownership of Coffee Mania with her husband, Craig, thanked their customers for supporting their product.
"We are feeling the love this morning and are super grateful for all of you!" Brooks said in Facebook post.
