Police claim to find laundry list of drugs at Cortland man's residence

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- A Cortland man faces felony drug-related charges after police searched his home in the city Tuesday afternoon.

At around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Cortland County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 40 Lincoln Avenue, according to Lt. Richard Troyer with the City of Cortland Police Department.

While there, police found various quantities of concentrated cannabis in the form of hash oil and wax, which police say he intended to sell; 150 doses of LSD; about 150 ounces of marijuana; approximately 10 ounces of Promethazine with Codeine; 3 grams of psilocybin mushrooms; and about a dozen Adderall pills.

Police also confiscated roughly $25,000 in cash, Lt. Troyer said.

Lee S. Wade, 22, who lives at the residence, faces several felony and misdemeanor charges in connection with the drug investigation:

-- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree (Class A-1 felony)
-- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (Class D felony)
-- Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the Second Degree (Class D felony)
-- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class A misdemeanor)

Wade was arraigned in Cortland City Court and sent to Cortland County Jail without bail. His next court appearance is pending.
