Cortland police ask for public's help in hit-and-run crash

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The Cortland Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run crash last week.

On Wed., Aug. 30, at about 3:51 p.m., the driver of a pickup truck forced another vehicle off the road and into a light pole on Main Street and drove away.

The truck is described as a newer white Ford F150 STX edition. It has yellow New York State license plates and a silver tool box in the bed of the truck.

Anyone who can identify the truck is asked to contact the city police department at 607-753-3001.
