Logging truck accident shuts down Route 41 in McGraw

CORTLAND, N.Y. - A logging truck rolled over on Route 41 east of the village of McGraw Friday afternoon, according to emergency radio reports.

The accident happened at around 2 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Route 41 and Soshinsky Road in McGraw.

The Cortlandville Fire Department, TLC Ambulance, and McGraw Fire Department have all responded to the scene.

There appeared to be no other vehicles involved in the incident.

The driver was transported by ambulance to Cortland Regional Medical Center. The extent of the driver's injuries are unknown at this time.

Route 41 between the Bill Bros. Market in the village of McGraw and Maybury Road remains closed to traffic as crews prepare to remove the logging truck from the highway.
