Narrative: On Saturday, October 7, at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle being operated by 57-year-old Joel Gower for driving across hazardous markings on Route 222 in the town of Cortlandville. Upon further investigation, Gower was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested, processed, and later released to a third party.
