Cops: Man threatened person with machete

Narrative: At approximately 3:10 a.m., officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at the Parker Manor Trailer Park located on Route 41 in the Town of Scott for a domestic incident. It was reported that the defendant had threatened the victim with a machete during an argument. When the officers arrived they took the defendant into custody without incident, along with locating the weapon the defendant had possessed. The victim was not injured during the incident. The defendant was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for processing and and remanded to the Cortland County Jail with no bail.

Narrative: Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were conducting a traffic stop on Main Street in the Village of McGraw for speeding when the operator and passenger ran from the vehicle, authorities said. Both subjects were located and taken into custody within a short period of time with the assistance of the New York State Police. The operator of the vehicle, 29-year-old Robert Milliron, ran through a back alley, hid, and changed his clothing in an attempt to elude capture by police, the sheriff's office said. His sister, Sara Milliron, ran from the scene into a nearby apartment building in an attempt to avoid arrest for drug possession. Both were arraigned in the Town of Cortlandville Court and remanded to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
