Marathon man charged with DWI in Binghamton

Narrative: The arrest occurred after troopers observed Ellsworth moving from his lane unsafely while driving on Chenango Street in Binghamton. An investigation determined that he was driving while intoxicated, police said. He was issued tickets returnable to the City of Binghamton Court and released to a family member.

Narrative: On November 12, 2017, at 1:35 a.m., officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to 3681 Route 215 in the Town for Cortlandville for a loud party noise complaint. Responding officers arrived to find the resident, 21-year-old Brent Carter, hosting a party
with some underage guests in attendance, authorities said. Taylor Bowers, age 21, began argued with officers and became combative, the sheriff's office said. Several party goers ran from the scene when officers were taking Bowers into custody. Both Carter and Bowers were taken into custody, processed and later released on an appearance ticket.
