Man accused of DWI, leaving accident scene

Name: Mark A. Powell

Charges: Driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor); aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree (misdemeanor); leaving the scene of a property damage accident (violation)
Narrative: At around 12:12 a.m. Sunday, Mark A. Powell was involved in a minor car accident in front of 60 Main Street. He got out of his vehicle and walked away from the scene, police said. He later returned to the scene and was arrested on the above charges.

Woman leaves threatening voicemail

Name: Robin Stevens
Age: 34

Charges: Aggravated harassment in the second degree (misdemeanor)
Narrative: On Dec. 28, at about 2:30 p.m., Robin Stevens left a message on the voicemail of a 22-year-old woman threatening physical harm, police said.

 

Man charged with resisting arrest

Name: Shane K. Granger
Age: 40
Address: Cortland, N.Y.
Date Arrested: Jan. 1, 2018
Charges: Obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree (misdemeanor); resisting arrest (misdemeanor)
Narrative: At around 3:20 a.m. Monday, officers responded to 160 Main Street regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers interviewed Shane K. Granger and attempted to search him for weapons. Granger pulled away from police and fought with officers, the city police department said. No weapon was found on Granger. He was released to appear in city court later this month.
