: At around 12:35 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, officers attempted to stop a vehicle being operated by 53-year-old Christine Marrs, of Cortland, for obstructed view and license plates by large amounts of snow on the corner of Pomeroy and Elm streets in the city of Cortland. Marrs continued driving down Elm Street until she reached her residence, failing to comply with police, according to the Cortland County Sheriff's Office. Marrs was found to be driving without a license. She was taken to Cortland City Court for arraignment and released.

: The Cortland County Sheriff's Office arrested inmate Dustin Fellows at approximately 11 a.m. Tuesday. Fellows, who was serving time for an unrelated matter, was arrested by investigators after he made phone calls from the Cortland County Correctional Facility to an individual who had an order of protection against him, according to Lt. Todd Caufield with the sheriff's office. Fellows was processed on the new charged and remanded to the Cortland County Jail.
