CORTLAND, N.Y. - Authorities are investigating a crash that occurred at a gas station just outside the city of Cortland Wednesday night.
At around 10 p.m., a male driver traveling west on Starr Road drove through the intersection with Route 13 and head-on into a gas pump at the Kwik Fill gas station, located at 312 Route 13 in Cortland, according to a witness at the scene who asked to remain anonymous.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and the gas station was quickly shut down.
There were no life-threatening injuries to the driver, and it's unclear if there was anyone else in the vehicle. It's also unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
Police were not able to be reached for comment at the time of this release.
