SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Two local boys basketball teams will look to move on to the state final four as they compete in the 2018 New York State Public High School Athletics Association regional finals this weekend.

The McGraw Golden Eagles (15-4) will take on the Harrisville Pirates (22-3) at 1 p.m. Saturday at SRC Arena in Syracuse. If McGraw wins, they will face the East Panthers, of Rochester, or the Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles, of Clyde, N.Y, in the state semifinals in Binghamton.

"We're preparing for it like any other game," McGraw head coach Matthew Martins said following his team's practice Friday. "If we treat it like any other game, they generally keep their heads up on the court and play the game that we know they can play."

Following that matchup, the Tully Black Knights take on the Unadilla Valley Storm at 3 p.m. A victory would put Tully in the state semifinals, where they would face either Tapestry Thunderhawks or the Northstar Christian Academy Knights in Binghamton.

We'll be live streaming both games via our Facebook page starting at 1 p.m.
