Woman accused of stealing laptop

Cortland man charged with criminal mischief

Name: Cody E. Guernsey

Charge(s): Two counts of criminal mischief (misdemeanor); two counts of criminal trespass (misdemeanor)
Narrative: Guernsey entered a residence of Garfield Street without permission and damaged a door at a residence on Pendleton Street and damaged sheetrock at a residence on Elm Street. He was sent to jail on $500 cash bail.

Rochester man charged with DWI

Name: Rodney Dais

Charge(s): Criminal possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanor); aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree (misdemeanor); unlawful possession (violation)
Narrative: State troopers observed Dais speeding while he was traveling on Interstate 81 in the town of Cortlandville. Troopers initiated a traffic stop and discovered Dais’s license had been revoked. A further investigation discovered that Dais was in possession of a crack cocaine and marijuana. Dais was subsequently arrested.

Dryden man arrested for DWI

Name: John A. Woodard, Jr.

Charge(s): Driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor)
Narrative: Troopers observed Woodard operating a vehicle on State Route 13 in the town of Dryden. The vehicle had equipment violations. An investigation revealed that Woodard was intoxicated. Woodard was arraigned in the town of Dryden and released on his recognizance.
