Narrative: Troopers were dispatched to a two-car motor vehicle accident on State Route 281 in the town of Cortlandville. An investigation revealed that Leppert ran a red light and struck another vehicle. Both Leppert and the driver of the other vehicle were not injured. Troopers determined Leppert was intoxicated and she was subsequently arrested. Leppert was released on tickets returnable to the town of Cortlandville Court on May 14, 2018. She was then turned over to a sober third party.

Narrative: Maldonado was driving on the shoulder of the road on Clinton Avenue and gave police a false date of birth and had a suspended driver license. He was released to appear in city court.
