Cortland man charged with rape

Name: Austin P. Uhle

Narrative: Uhle is accused of having sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 16 at a residence on Charles Street.

Cortland man charged with criminal possession of a weapon

Name: Michael W. Conger
Age: 58
Address: South Ave, Cortland, NY
Date Arrested: April 11, 2018
Charge: Criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree (misdemeanor)
Narrative: On April 11, at approximately 4 p.m., officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, acting on a tip, found Michael Conger in possession of four firearms. Upon further investigation officers arrested Mr. Conger and charged him with 4 counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, because of a previous felony conviction. He was processed, later released, and
is due to appear in the Town of Cortlandville Court on April 30.

Solon woman charged with drug possesion

Charge(s): Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree (misdemeanor); unlawful possession of marijuana (violation)
Narrative: On April 16, 2018 at about 2:10 p.m., Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to N. Tower Road, in the Town of Solon, to assist with a custody exchange. Officer found Ciara Hilsinger to be in possession of marijuana and a controlled substance without a prescription. She was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was arraigned in the Town of Solon Court, released in court, and is scheduled to return to the Town of Solon Court on 5/23/18 at 6:30 PM.

Crash in Homer leads to DWI arrest

Name: James D. Tucker
Age: 41
Address: Homer, NY
Date Arrested: April 14, 2018
Charge(s): Driving while intoxicated (misdemeanor);
Narrative: Troopers were dispatched to a one car accident with a vehicle overturned on a guide rail on Coldbrook Road in the town of Homer. Troopers observed Tucker in the vehicle and he was extricated by the Homer Fire Department. Tucker was then transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Troopers interviewed Tucker at the hospital and determined he was intoxicated. Tucker was later arraigned in the town of Homer Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court at a later date.
