CORTLAND, N.Y. — The spring-like temperatures we experienced over the weekend will stick around Monday and Tuesday, with a slight drop in temperature by the middle of the week.

Mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 60s are in the forecast for Monday. Clouds will increase Monday night with a low pressure system that will bring rain for the mid-week period.

Temperatures on Tuesday will be dependent on the amount of cloud cover. Highs are expected to reach into the lower 60s, with a chance of rain in the afternoon. Wind gusts could reach up to 25 mph.

Widespread rain showers will return Tuesday night and continue into late Wednesday afternoon. Rainfall amounts should range from 0.5" to 1".

Rain showers may linger into Thursday. Highs will hover around 50 degrees.

High temperatures on Friday may reach into the lower 60s, with overnight lows dropping into the 30s and lower 40s throughout the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday may only reach into the low to mid 50s.
