Two charged in connection with Dryden home invasion

ITHACA, N.Y. — State police in Ithaca have arrested two men in connection with a home invasion in the town of Dryden that occurred in the early morning hours Wednesday.

Kevin P. Chambliss, 32, and Henry J. Moreno, 28, both of Lansing, are charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree kidnapping, and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Chambliss was additionally charged with criminal sexual act.

Both defendants were arraigned before Dryden Town Court Judge Jules Ravo and remanded to Tompkins County Jail without bail.

Their next court appearance is scheduled in the town of Dryden on April 30.

State police say their investigation is continuing with the aid of the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office.
