Ada Mae Arnold, 72, of West Main Street, Cortland NY passed away Thursday April 19th at Cortland Regional Medical center after a long battle with cancer.
Born September 14, 1946 in Cortland NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Francis Perry.
Ada was an employee of Smith Corona for many years then retired from JM Murray center after being an inspector there for many years also.
Her greatest joys in life were her husband, sons, and grandsons. She enjoyed gardening, working hard and she loved family gatherings and spending time with friends the most. Her family was her whole life.
She is survived by her husband, Richard (Dick) Arnold of 52 years in May, her sons Richard D Arnold II and Randy (Katrina) Arnold, grandkids Colby Arnold, Richard Arnold III, Nathan Arnold, Noah Arnold and little Landon Arnold, brother Dewitt Perry, sister Mary Marshall, sister in law Catherine Jandrew and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday April 23rd at Wright-Beard funeral home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland N.Y. from 4-7 p.m. with funeral services immediately following. Please forward any donations to The American Cancer Society.
