Dryden man charged with DWI

Summary: On April 28, 2018 at approximately 2:13 a.m., Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle being operated by 26-year-old Michael Elkin for speeding, on Route 13, in the Town of Virgil. Upon further investigation he was found to be in an intoxicated condition. He was arrested, processed, and later released to a third party.
Elbridge woman charged with speeding without a license

Summary: On Saturday April 28, at approximately 1:09 p.m., officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle being operated by 22-year-old Molly Conroy on Route 41 in the Town of Scott for speeding. Upon further investigation she was found to be operating while her driver’s license was suspended for having three or more suspensions on three or more separate dates, authorities said. She was also found to be in possession of marijuana. She was arrested and charged with speed in zone, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Endicott man charged with DWI

Location: Main Street, Cortland, N.Y.
Summary: On April 28, 2018, at 2:44 a.m., the City of Cortland Police Department arrested 34-year-old Stephen R. Jones while he was driving on Main Street. Jones was driving while intoxicated and failed to use a turn signal, police said.
